Catalyst privacy overview
1. What Catalyst stores
Catalyst stores account information required to authenticate users, apply plans, track usage, and enforce spend controls. That includes email address, display name, plan state, usage ledger entries, and billing metadata.
2. Local-only mode
Free local-only use is designed to avoid hosted model billing. When you stay in local mode, Catalyst does not need to meter hosted model usage for that workflow.
3. Hosted cloud usage
When managed cloud access is enabled, Catalyst may transmit request content to the hosted billing backend and onward to the configured model provider required to fulfill the request.
4. Billing and usage records
Catalyst keeps usage ledger entries, included-credit balances, overage totals, and spend-cap warnings so account state remains consistent across devices and billing cycles.
5. Provider availability
NYPTID-hosted models are currently listed as coming soon. They do not receive production traffic or bill users until formally launched.
